Harvest kicked off slightly slower and later than the previous year, will 11 grape cultivars – 5 white (Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Chenel) and 5 red (Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Petit Verdot), some of them requiring a longer hanging time. We are pleased with the excellent quality of the grapes and that their yields are slightly up from last season. At this stage, everything is looking good for another great vintage.
We are thankful and grateful that no diseases affected our vineyard this year. Our vineyard, with roughly 30 ha of vines under production, is continually growing and strengthening.
